Is Officially Halal Certified

Fattoush has been certified by Halal Food Standards Alliance of America (HFSAA) since 2018. Our meat and poultry are delivered fresh, on a daily basis, through approved suppliers, from certified farms and slaughter houses. All of them are monitored and supervised by HFSAA to ensure the standards of Halal are implemented thru the entire process.

HFSAA insures that

  • Muslim Slaughterer: The slaughterer must be a practicing Muslim
  • Tesmiya on each animal: The name of Allah will be recited on every animal, accompanied with proper intention
  • Hand Slaughter: done by hand, not by a machine or mechanical means
  • Horizontal incision of arteries: The slaughterer will use a sharp knife to administer a horizontal incision to the throat of the animal, severing the trachea, esophagus and the carotid arteries.
